Today we are stepping into this unique storefront turned condo located in Columbus, Ohio. This modern home is a one of a kind and we are loving it! Designer and MyDomaine guest editor Jonathan Steinitz took on the task of revamping this space into the beautiful home that it is by taking travel inspiration and turning it into home design.
We are loving how eclectic this space is. Just from this one angle you can see multiple aesthetics blend together to show off the travel inspired theme.
Chalk walls are perfect for a home that needs any kind of creative. These walls are blank canvases for art, menus, to do lists, and more.
Quite possibly my favorite part of this kitchen/nook is the leather pulls!
This reading nook feels like it’s a room of its own, but if you look closely at the second image listed you’ll notice that this is a part of the large open floor plan. Quick tip: block off sections as categories (reading nook, lounge/family area, dining etc) in an open floor plan to give the illusion of many rooms.
How cute is this little window over the bed looking into the closet?
