Today’s Les Bois Tuesday, Bella Grano, is run by a local artist, Trish, who sells everything from pillows to pouches.  She also makes jewelry.  Her airplane necklaces are ADORABLE.  I have to say that my favorite items are the airplane pillows.  I would love a few for my sons room.

If you are local, you can find some of her items at The White Pine.  If you are not local, go check out her Etsy and Flickr. This busy lady also has a blog.

I have been studying homes the last few days and I must say that because I am in such an unclutter mood, homes like the one below, are really inspiring me.  Everything from the simple details to the simple color schemes.  I especially love the pops of color in unexpected places.  And isn’t this particular kitchen dreamy??

Do you want to know what I do the week after Christmas and the few days right before the New Year?  I clean!  And organize.  And clean some more.  Do I enjoy cleaning?  Why yes, yes I do!  I still need a few more days to take my beloved white tree down but everything else will be removed, moved, positioned, dusted, scrubbed and re-hung.  Yippee!!

When do you get the cleaning and organizing bug?

“Only 3 more sleeps!” My kids are shouting that consistently today. The excitement is growing immensely in our household. I cant believe that I have only 3 more days to listen to Christmas music and I can enjoy my tree for one more week or so. I must enjoy this time and not rush it….right?
Creature Comforts is not only one of my favorite blogs but Ez has one of my favorite FlickrStreams.  She has the cutest Christmas ornaments photographed on her Flickr.  You must take a peek!!  Also make sure to tour her blog today for some great holiday ideas.  You can never get enough of Creature Comforts!

Do you need a last minute gift idea for a special friend or co-worker that maybe you accidentally overlooked?  The talented Bridgett from Perideau Designs made yummy red velvet truffles, packaged them in cute kraft boxes (found here) and made personal tags for each box.  Simple yet so very pretty.  Thanks Bridgett!

Happy Monday everyone. I hope this week isn’t to crazy for all of you.  I have quite a bit of shopping left but I am confident that I will finish at least by tomorrow…..I hope.

To keep us in the festive mood, here is a glimpse into designer and blogger Iro’s home in Frankfurt.  I am in love with the thought of having a clean and simple space for the holidays.  Iro has created a fresh but very homey space.  A few of my favorite details are the garland (below), angel ornaments and the knit stockings.  Lovely!!

I am sure that a majority of you will be shopping, decorating, baking and possibly crafting this weekend.  It seems like this holiday season flew by faster than a jet.  I am trying to soak in every moment with my children and family.    Tis the season to do alot and give alot. I hope that SG’s Christmas ideas inspired you in some way this week.  There were alot of fabulous ideas submitted.  If I have time next week I will post a few more.  Below are a few fun finds that I leave you with.

I stumbled across these images below while looking at a great wedding site, Grey Like Weddings.  The idea of going natural for wrapping is very appealing this year.  Organic and beautiful!

This is the cutest gingerbread house that I have ever seen!  But I wouldn’t expect anything less from Jeanette of Fryd + Design.  Her eye for detail is always spot on.  I love the colors she chose for this house.  And the variety of candy looks like it came from a stylish candy shop.  I will never ever ever show you the gingerbread house that I attempted to make after seeing this beauty!  Great job Jeanette!!

This is a perfect example of how easy it is to create a simple but gorgeous and easy on the wallet holiday vignette. Elizabeth found these baubles at Good Will, located some glass containers from around the house and filled the containers with all of the colorful baubles.  The faux wood candle holders and faux snow give it a perfect winter feel.  Great job Elizabeth!
