Speed Decorating by Jill Vegas is packed full of great tips to decorate on a short amount of time. Its the perfect book for the impatient decorater. Sometimes I feel very impatient and I dont like working on one room for months at a time. It seems easier for me to take risks because I dont like waiting for my spaces to be absolutely perfect. Some people want and require for their rooms to be 100% of they want and so they are willing to wait it out. So.. this book can help the patient as well move a little quicker on projects and tasks.
These 2 images remind me why I love white so much.

Yahgie has such fun pillows and other home goods. I am loving their new look that they launched this year.
I know I previously talked about this but I am really enjoying the beginnings of spring. I think that I have decided that its my favorite season. I love filling my house with lots of fresh flowers, opening up all of the windows and lighting fresh scented candles. What is your favorite part of spring? How do you decorate for spring?
Above is a photo that I styled (spring was my inspiration) for Holly’s Interior Stylist flickr group. This months challenge was to pick an empty wall, add a chair, pile books or magazines on top and add a lamp or flowers. Below is few of my favorites.

I am heading to Seattle today for a few days so I wont be posting tomorrow. I get to see my pregnant sis in law, who is carrying twins! Woohoo! See you all on Monday and have a fantastic weekend!!
I love spring and I love decorating for spring. Lots of whites, creams, light fabrics, flowers, mild springy scents, more flowers….and the list goes on. For my birthday my mother law gave me a bouquet of beautiful white hydrangeas. I placed them on my mid century buffet. I also exchanged my mounted antlers for this vintage clock that I purchased at the farm sale. Its amazing how adding two new items to a vignette changes the whole look. Yay for spring!!
I have already posted about this gorgeous tile before but I just had to show you some more amazing options. Tile has sure evolved over the years. Don’t you think?
Here are some residential and commercial projects from LA based MASHstudios. Check out more here.
Thanks a million for the sweet birthday wishes!! I had such a fun day.
My son delivered a soy chai and a Nascar (he was super excited because he picked it out himself) birthday card to me first thing. After I got myself ready and had breakfast with the fam, I went shopping for…. clothes!! Being the decor lover that I am, clothes tend to come second on the shopping priority list. My 2 gorgeous nieces and one of my two handsome nephews escorted me to the mall. I used to have major shopping stamina but it has clearly been passed to my 14 year old niece. I was worn out after an hour. She could have gone all day!
I ended the day eating an Italian feast with a huge table full of family. I had way to much bread and pasta but it was so good. Turning one year older wasn’t so bad.

I hope that you all had a great week! I can’t believe that it is already Friday. Some of my family is coming into town today for my birthday, which is Monday. My mom has a tradition of making me a bunny cake with white fluffy frosting. We shall see if at 29 years old, I still get it. I sure hope so!!!
See you soon!!!! xx
I found OMNI thru twitter. ( Don’t ya just love twitter?? I find the greatest people and talent thru twitter.) I was drawn to their amazing furniture pieces mostly because of the shapes and lines. Read more and see more here.
Amy always has such great options for linens. Her collection is perfect for those in the mood for spring and summer. I especially love the Bucharest & Constanta collection (above). All of the bedding is 100% organic. Thats a fantastic bonus!
I got a few new goodies these last few weeks. I am in love with my new necklace from my sponsor, Kate Gray! I could wear it everyday with every outfit. You must check out her Etsy shop.
Also my good friend gave me the cutest dish to hold my rings. It might have come a few weeks to late after the loss of my wedding ring, but I am still believing that I will find it soon!!
I did a mini photo shoot with my kids yesterday for a feature on another blog. I will let you know when it is posted. Its gonna be sooo cute!
Speaking of photoshoot. I had another shoot last week at my house for the upcoming La Petite Magazine which launches in 2 weeks. The pictures turned out adorable! My cousin Rachelle even let me keep the raindrops from Studio Violet that she brought for a prop. Its now raining on my chair.
