So, I told all of you that I was planning a total redo on my kid’s bedrooms and though that has not happened quite yet, I did organize and clean out their rooms yesterday.  That alone feels amazing!   A few things will need our attention SOON.  I noticed that my son’s walls are trashed, badly trashed.  We used a flat paint (what were we thinking??) and there are a multitude of scuffs and marks all over.  Eden’s walls are also in need of help.  She took it upon herself to decorate the walls with My Little Pony stickers.  When I removed them yesterday, half the paint came off too.  Ug.

Our plan is paint both rooms, purchase or make bunk beds for Ethan, new chandelier for Eden, paint Eden’s headboard a bright color, new bedding for both and so on and so forth.  Do any of you know of stylish and affordable bunk beds?  My husband is tempted to make them but if we can buy them already made, so much better!

I was browsing Holly’s Interior Styling group on Flickr and came across so many inspiring spaces.  It seems like people are stepping out of the design box more and more.  I love finding spaces that don’t look like 100 other spaces.  Below are a few images that make me want to stop everything that I am doing and go style something.

Twins!

This is why I have been a little side tracked this last week.  Two of the cutest human beings were birthed into the world.  My heart is bursting for my new nephews!

(The outfits are courtesy of their favorite auntie…wink wink.)
