Let me start this post by apologizing for being a little more quiet this week.  I am sick and I haven’t been this sick in a long time!!  Fever, chills, soar throat, stomach issues, fever, chills….. its like I am in 3rd grade all over again when I got a weird 6 day flu!  And of course my to do list is a mile high… but it just doesn’t matter right now, AT ALL!  So any prayers coming my way would be more than a little appreciated.  This momma cannot be sick this long!

See you all on Monday when I will be 100% better!!

Did you see Emma’s bedroom reveal over at the marion house book??  Isn’t it divine?  I love the organic and relaxed feel.  The mixture of textures is just perfect!  Great job Emma!!

My son has more style than I do.  He is constantly wanting to go shopping for skinny jeans, new golf shirts and wooden cars that he can paint.  (He also has a shoe fetish….majorly!!!)  It is so fun to browse the web with him.  Right now he is way into modern bunk beds, fun and playful lunch ideas, and car decals.

We got our paint in the mail today!!!  YAY!!  I am so excited to get everything decorated.  (I can only take “skin” walls for so long.)  For our office, we are loving this sawhorse idea.  I helped a friend create a desk similar to these last year and I loved the look.

Happy Good Friday, Earth Day and Easter!!  We had plans, many plans this weekend but it seems that my little pumpkin boy isn’t feeling to good so we will take one weekend day at a time.  Easter is my favorite holiday!  It symbolizes hope and reminds me of what unconditional love is.  Whatever your plans are, be super blessed!

One of my good friends has a rocken mid century abode in Boise.  (I am going to talk her into letting me give you a mini tour!)  She recently re-upholstered this sofa with her mom and I was so impressed that I just had to share it with you.  She bought the sofa at one of our local consignment shops.  It has the greatest wooden v legs.  (Sorry I didn’t take a better shot of the legs.)  The fabric she chose looks great in her modern home.  Fabulous job my dear Tanna!! xx

My cousin Rachelle does it all.  Blogs all things children over at Kenziepoo, is the editor in chief of La Petite Magazine, mommy to Kenzie, wife to her preacher hubby and gives herself constantly to help and support young people.  She is pretty darn awesome!  Here is her {one space}.

I love this room because of the scandinavian and simplistic feel to it! I could see myself getting hours and hours of work done here.  The only thing missing?  My computer.

Thanks Rachelle!!

Here is a sneaky peek from a photo shoot I did yesterday.  It is bright, fun and will help the brain.  (The lamp is one of my favorite pieces that I reclaimed for Brass Razoo.)

These vintage subway signs and bus scrolls from Flying Junction, could be going in my dining room very soon.  I love them!  They are the perfect historical industrial.  (Don’t even know if those words can go together.)
