A shop that I would be thrilled to visit one day is Folklore, the quaint biz nestled in busy London.  Folklore is an independent store and online store set up by Danielle Reid and her husband Rob.  Their range includes homewares, furniture, lighting, art and lifestyle goods.  They choose the most beautiful products and they only look for craftsmanship, quality, simplicity and durability.  Lovely!

When I received my Studio Snowpuppe pendant in the mail, I fell more in love with it than I expected to.  The graphic origami shape is perfection.  The color choices made it hard to choose just one, but in the end I chose canary yellow.  It complements the colors in my large ixxi enlargement.  It completes our breakfast corner.

In a world of many many ABC posters, I thought this particular one was super cute for a kids space!  Each little animal is obsessively adorable that you want to squeeze each one individually.  Well, maybe besides the jelly fish.  I think my favorite is the hippo.  Nothing like a baby hippo, right??

The Olympics start tonight!  I might be on my couch for the next few weeks so if you don’t hear from me, I’ve been sucked into the big wide world of the greatest event ever!  JK…kindof.  Here’s a round-up of some festive decor items that would compliment the Olympics quite well.

After going back and forth with what I wanted from my trip to Nordstrom, I finally decided on the Dolce Vita Bootie and Rag & Bone jean legging in midnight.  Both are great pieces for the fall and can be paired with just about anything!  I could have taken one of each item that I tried on but wisdom beckoned in the end.  Love you Anniversary Sale, love you.

Here are 2 images from my Anthology shoot, seen in Issue 8.  Stylist Rod Hipskind and photographer Kelly Ishikawa did an AMAZING job!  Both are incredibly talented and some of the nicest people that you will ever meet.  I was totally impressed with each of them.  Their interpretation of my space is spot on.  Above is my living space and my kid’s shared bedroom.

Make sure to pick up or order this latest issue to see more of my home and so much more goodness!!

Because Boise doesn’t have a Nordstrom (yet) I took a little day trip with one of my besties to the Salt Lake Nordstrom. We got there the morning that the Anniversary Sale started and let me tell you…people were cra cra excited! In the midst of all of the shopping happy chaos, I tried on SO many great pieces. Below are a few casual ensembles that I put together, in lieu of fall time.

Jacket and Jeans: J Brand, Tank: Rag & Bone, Shoes: Dolce Vita.

Vest: June, Blouse: Joie, Jeans: Rag & Bone.

Jacket: Truth & Pride and Jeans: Rag & Bone.

Vince Camuto Booties.

I wanted to take everything home with me but sadly my wallet wouldn’t allow it.  Check back tomorrow to see what 2 pieces that I decided to keep as my own.

Jacket: Elizabeth and James and Boots: Sam Edelman.

If you’ve been a Simply Grove reader for awhile now, you know that I only usually blog about all things interior design and my kids.  Meaning I don’t blog about fashion or food.  BUT that doesn’t mean that I don’t LOVE fashion because I absolutely DO.  I have wanted to incorporate a little of it here but in a very Simply Grove way.  Saying all of that, when I got approached to participate in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I was super excited.  I have shopped the Anniversary sale since High School and have embraced this event every year.  This year in particular has some FANTASTIC pieces on sale.  Below is a few that had me drooling the moment I laid eyes on them.

1.  Rebecca Minkoff Studded Satchel.  2.  Sam Edelman Bootie.  3.  Elizabeth and James Camisole.  4.  Elizabeth and James Leather Trim Blouse.  5.  See by Chloe Shoulder Bag.  6.  7 For All Mankind Stretch Jeans.  7.  Dolce Vita Boot.  8.  Paige Coated Skinny Jeans.

Check back tomorrow to see what outfits I didn’t want to take off at the Anniversary Sale in Salt Lake.
