DIY {Mirror}…

When I started re-doing my office, I had a plan of action for my baroque mirror. I almost gave it away, just because I’m a little over this trend. But after seeing Martha Stewart’s new project paints, I knew that this mirror needed a little copper pick me up. I used the metallic glaze in copper penny and I love the result! It’s super pretty yet a little edgy and it fits in with my office design perfectly! I’m also a huge fan of Martha Stewart Project Paints. They come in 10 oz. jars, which is great because you’re not waisting a bunch of paint. You can choose between crackle, glitter, metallic glaze, metallic, textured metallic and terra cotta and they all come in a variety of colors. I’m pretty sure that I need to try glitter next!

So if you have a mirror or a frame that needs a little re-do, try this! You’ll love it.

  1. Hi! Did you have a hard time putting it on? It doesn’t seem to coat well? Maybe it was just the color I have. I got medallion which is the gold. BEAUTIFUL! I am getting the copper penny based on your post for a dresser I have!
