Kitchen Love…

I was brainstorming with a friend last night about her kitchen re-model and it got me thinking about how much I love kitchens! I’m not a good cook and my baking is so so but I still love a well designed, beautiful kitchen. Organization, materials and lighting is key to making a kitchen a masterpiece. And if you are a clean person (it’s going to be a hard task if you are naturally less inclined to clean) open shelving is a must! It makes a kitchen light, airy, open and you get to display those fun kitchen accessories.

Do you like your kitchen? Could you live without a well designed kitchen?

I love kitchens and love to cook. I have lived through two major kitchen renos and one upgrade. That’s the current kitchen – any more than new counters, backsplash and appliances would be earrings on a monkey!
No plans for more but I still pin kitchen ideas. It’s an art to design an effective AND stylish layout.
