If it’s not pillows, it’s throws. I could have a different throw for each day of the week. The secret to changing out bedding for a new feel and look is constantly using a white duvet cover and changing ou the throws for color and pattern. Any one of these throws would look flawless on a bed. These cashmere throws from Qi Home, are luxurious and quite cool. You will pay a little more for a product that will stand the test of time. Take a look and drool away.

Recently a great collaboration happened here in Boise. My former biz partner, Elise Vaughn of Brass Razoo, joined forces with Bricoalge, a fantastic boutique owned by Chelsea Snow. Chelsea and Elise have created a store full of fantastic items including clothing designed by Elise, vintage clothing, kids clothing, gift items, home decor and more. The duo will also be launching a collaborative line called bric+brass in the spring. I am ecstatic about this duo! So locals, make sure you take a visit. And non-locals shop Bricolage here and Brass Razoo here.

Happy Monday friends! I hope that you are having a successful Monday.
I’m in the process of doing an office overhaul, complete with new storage and furniture pieces. The picture above is a great example of creating a clean small space to work out of.

I know that this is a little late in the game, but never too late to chat about, right?? This past Alt, I had the opportunity to interview the GORGEOUS Jessica Alba and learn more about her and The Honest Company. What a treat it was. She is a beauty inside and out. And you know what I loved most about her? How much she loves her daughters. The moment we started talking about mommy-hood, she lit up like a light bulb. It’s her passion, and I appreciate that! I was just thinking yesterday that if more parents put an emphases on being great and loving parent, I bet that crime would go down, broken hearts would be mended and people would be a lot more happy. Anyways…
Jessica and I chatted a bit about interior design. Being one of her passions, she had a lot to say about the decor of her homes. Of course that was so fun to hear. She told me that she talks alot about interior design in her upcoming book, The Honest Life. So decor lovers, keep your eye open for that!
What makes me appreciate all that Jessica does is that she does it with such class. She’s an A-list celebrity, an entrepreneur a mom, and everything she does comes across so positive.
I’m also a huge fan of The Honest Company. Though I don’t have babies, I’m a cleaning product fanatic. These products smell good, look good and clean good. Everything you need in a product. I also LOVE the bath and body line. I can’t live without the face and body lotion. Jessica and her team are passionate about their products which always makes the best impression for the buyer. I’ll be buying for a long time to come!
See you all on Monday! xxoo

The more I cook, the more I love it. The more my kids tell me they like my cooking, the more I love it. Diet Pepsi has created a campaign called Share the Love, and I’ve created a fun little Love List to share one of my newest loves, the kitchen. It’s all about having the right tools around me to make it an enjoyable time. It’s fun sharing the love! You should try it.

Happy Valentines!! Can you feel the love in the air??
This morning my husband and I woke up early to make the kids a Valentines breakfast. Honestly, we never get up earlier than the kids, or at least Eden, so we tried our best and still got beat by Eden! This is her favorite holiday so I’m sure she didn’t sleep much last night. And because this is her favorite holiday, I wanted to make it extra special. Both kids got dessert treats along with their breakfast food of choice. I also made fresh juiced orange juice, which doesn’t last long in this house. We ended breakfast by giving them little v-day presents. Gotta love the dollar section at Target for that purpose!

We ended with an attempt (I repeat, an attempt) to take a picture together.
Wishing you and your loved ones a fabulous Valentines! xxoo

In honor of Valentines tomorrow, here are a few spaces infused with pretty pink. Pale pink can create a very romantic feel while a brighter pink can make a space feel fun and playful. Happy Pink!!

We had a blast at our Anthropologie event this last Saturday. The Boise Anthropologie was full of crafters that were excited to make a valentine shadow box for their loved one. Jennifer came up with this fantastic idea and I think it was an absolute hit. Each crafter filled their box with their expression of coolness. I loved seeing everyones own personal expression. Rachelle, Jennifer and I had a great time and I hope everyone that attended did as well! And thank you to our local Anthropologie and all of the amazing Anthro gals for helping make this event a total success!

I normally do not like blinds and I don’t suggest them to clients. But I love how these rooms show that you can make blinds work in your home. You don’t even notice them because you’re focused on the beautiful rooms filled with awesome furniture and accessories. So, if you are a blind owner that doesn’t have any other options, don’t even stress about it!! And if you are in the market for window treatments, sites like Window Blinds 2go™ have every option available.

I have a treat for you today. Bemz, the Swedish textile design company that specializes in slipcovers and cushion covers for IKEA furniture, has now expanded its offering to include bedcovers you can design in combination with your favorite Bemz material. I have posted a variety of choices. All of them are gorgeous and all of them should resonate to a variety of design aesthetics.

This neutral option is accessorized with beautiful natural elements and that gorgeous brass light fixture.

This option is a little more masculine. Seems like a cozy option for the colder months.

They paired this white bedcover with lots of pops of color. I really like this option!

Serene and simplistic makes this option gorgeous. Need a getaway in your home?? Try this look!

Fun and whimsical describes this look. Love red? Here you go!

This look has a few elements combined. It’s very cozy, organic and a little masculine.

For those that can’t get enough of patterns and textures, this is for you! It’s playful yet still mature.
Shop all these looks over at Bemz.

This is a great idea for storing or displaying your magazines. Put it up against a wall in your office or living space for easy access to your magazines. See more here.

I was in Seattle last week for a project. I visited Room & Board while I was there and fell in love with Murphy Sofa in emerald green. Actually, I would take this whole set-up! The art above the sofa perfectly ties in the whole look. I’m also loving that Hansen Bench. Bravo Room & Board!

I wanted to create a cute Valentine mural for a fun backdrop when taking pictures of my kids. Ethan and I created this modern heart using construction paper and washi tape. See how we did it over at The Honest Company Blog.
Hope you all had a great week! Meet me back here next week for more decor goodness.
