I love the entire room! BUT if I had to pick a least I would change the content of the art on the wall-but still keeping the same tone/size etc

I’ve never shared with the class mainly because I’m a bit clueless and easily overwhelmed when it comes to decorating… anything. However, this room caught my attention with the wall art first and then it drew me into reminiscing about an old science professor’s home, possibly Walter Bishop’s off of that t.v. show Fringe (which I absolutely love). I’d only change the coffee table by trying to find an old metal desk and just put short legs or knobs on it to be a well-suited coffee table.

love the simple interiors with those plush gold chairs. The small coffee tables are my least fav…. the scale is strange.

Love the sofas & the old ladder ha ha… maybe because I have an old yellow one in my house?
Don’t love the coffee tables… would agree with Callie that the scale is off. In a room that size, a more generous sized coffee table would be nicer.
The art is a bit strange, but the colors are nice. I actually kind of love the snakes! I don’t love the anatomy pics quite so much… to digestive-looking? Hmm.
Overall, though, I really like the room! I’d just push those coffee tables to be end tables and get another coffee table!

Lorelei! I LOVE your suggestion-As I look at the pic more I must say the ‘coffee’ table really is much too CB2′ish…and I think your table idea is brilliant!

The space could definitely use a more substantial coffee table. And I wish the art was framed instead of just hung the wall. I love the tufted sofa though, big fan!!!

Thanks Jmae! Hooray for sci-fi interior design;)

This room is yummy! I love the couches, the art, and the lighting. The only thing that looks kind of out of place would be the tiny coffee table. I would live there in a second!

I love the mustard/yellow sofa, but I am not a big fan of the art…reminds me of a dr.’s office!

i actually really like the art and the light fixture but the coffee table is a bit miniature… i would move the desk to the left and choose a larger coffee table – my coffee table right now is actually toooo large but i think that works better than too small.. strange huh?

love all the light and the light fixture, wish the sofas were cream or mushroom colored instead of dijon colored.
But what a fantastic room!

I absolutely adore the mustard sofa chairs. I am not sure about the black dining chairs as they remind me of the board room, although I am sure they are super comfortable. LOVE love the floors. I wouldn’t choose the art, probably a rustic mirror but it still works with the room. Thanks for the inspiration. x

There’s so much to love! I really like the bar cart in the corner, but I LOVE the {vintage?} posters on the wall. I have been looking for something similar.
Hmmm, my least favorite…the flowers in the windowsill?
