This post is for all Boise design enthusiasts. The awesome Jordan Cappella is speaking at the Chair Affair this weekend. While he’s here, we thought that it would be fun to organize a meet and greet with him. So come, meet this HGTV Design Star, get a picture with him, pick his brain on decor and just have fun! Oh and the gorgeous Vanessa De Vargas will be here too!!

RSVP here.

ALSO, two of my best friends, who both have drool worthy wardrobes, are hosting a curated clothing sale at Bricolage (418 S 6th St  Boise, ID 83702) this Thursday from 6pm-9pm, Friday 10am-7pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Elise Vaughn, stylist and the former owner of The Brass Razoo and my supermodel friend, Tanna Loubek, have done some major wardrobe overhauls and are ready for a fresh start. Come get your hands on some Diane Von Furstenburg, Burberry, Gucci and much more. Many items still have the original tags! There will be clothing, shoes, bags and accessories galore. Come early as they expect items to move fast. Make a girls day/evening of it and bring your friends!

It’s a fun weekend in Boise!!

This last Saturday, I sold some stuff at the Dwntwn Flea, hosted by Bricolage.  It was super fun and I was able to sell some of my loot that has been in my garage since the Brass Razoo days.  Thanks everyone who came, bought and left with a smile.  Also, Bricolage, you are lovely!

(It’s rumored that they will be hosting these more.)

Hey Boise peeps!  You should stop by this shindig on Saturday for some fabulous Flea Market goodness!  I’m going to even have a table there with some fun trinkets (my husbands choice word for decor) to sell.  See you on Saturday!!

This last Saturday, Kristin and I hosted a meet & greet with Vanessa De Vargas.  Such fun times!  Annie and Brandon of Heirloom & Vine graciously let us use their fantastic studio space.  Talented and creative peeps (like Jennifer and Joyce) came out for some hang out time with the beautiful Vanessa, whom I absolutely adore, BTW.

Local designers, keep your eyes and ears open for more networking possibilities!

Hey friends!  Sorry that I have been sporadic this week.  My little girl has been really sick so of course, duty calls.  But we are all feeling better and just in time because the Wintery Market starts tomorrow!  If you are a local, make sure to stop by the Ballet Idaho Auditorium between 10am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

I will be selling 3 holiday terrarium’s, which will be displayed as centerpieces around the event.  If you see one that you like, find a Volunteer or visit the Ticky-Tacky booth to reserve the one that you want.  I think that they all turned out lovely!

Visit Wintery Market’s site here to read more about and to see all of the awesome vendors.  I’m ready to do a little Christmas shopping!

Last Saturday we attended a Lavender Festival outside of Boise, in Nampa.  We cut our own Lavender, ate Lavender ice cream, drank Lavender Lattes and I even brought home a Lavender cookie recipe.  The cookies didn’t quite work out (Ethan dry heaved and Eden said “good try mom”) but I think I know what to change for next time.

I may be a bit lavender’ed out…:)

One of my good friends has a rocken mid century abode in Boise.  (I am going to talk her into letting me give you a mini tour!)  She recently re-upholstered this sofa with her mom and I was so impressed that I just had to share it with you.  She bought the sofa at one of our local consignment shops.  It has the greatest wooden v legs.  (Sorry I didn’t take a better shot of the legs.)  The fabric she chose looks great in her modern home.  Fabulous job my dear Tanna!! xx
