Recently a great collaboration happened here in Boise. My former biz partner, Elise Vaughn of Brass Razoo, joined forces with Bricoalge, a fantastic boutique owned by Chelsea Snow. Chelsea and Elise have created a store full of fantastic items including clothing designed by Elise, vintage clothing, kids clothing, gift items, home decor and more. The duo will also be launching a collaborative line called bric+brass in the spring. I am ecstatic about this duo! So locals, make sure you take a visit. And non-locals shop Bricolage here and Brass Razoo here.
I was looking through old images on my blog and came across this winner. This is from the Brass Razoo days when the kids would work the shop with me…. and get a little restless. At least Ethan was enjoying the movie!
BTW, Thursday is an important day for me (hint-I may have been born on that day) and to celebrate, I’m hosting another giveaway! This giveaway will be super fun with multiple winners. YAY!!
Remember Brass Razoo?? The amazing boutique owned by Elise Vaughn? Where I sold custom furniture? Well, Elise has ventured out and launched a new web site! You will find INSANE jewelry on there right now. And expect vintage, designer vintage and re designed vintage clothing and accessories within the month. I would wear EVERY SINGLE PIECE! Congrats Elise! You are amazing.
I Instagram’d this image on Tuesday. It’s a cute little corner that Elise Vaughn designed at Brass Razoo. Vintage perfection!

We got some nifty new furniture pieces and accessories at Brass Razoo. More to follow next week. Yay!!
Elise, the brains and talent behind Brass Razoo, found this kitty painting a few weeks back. So cool, right?? It is at the shop right now but someone may have already snagged it………who me??? I am personally more of a dog lover but this painting is purrrfect…:):)
Do you like my new lamp?? It’s actually not new. I bought it this summer from Brass Razoo and put it away to only forget about it, until a few weeks ago. It’s an Elise find. (She finds the best vintage items!!!) I love the mixture of the wood on the top and textured ceramic material on the bottom. I need to find the perfect lamp shade. I don’t want anything that will take away from the lamp itself.
This last Friday, I worked at Brass Razoo and my partner in crime, Eden Jo, worked with me. She was quite the little worker! (You would be proud, Elise.) Eden asked people if they needed dressing rooms and if she could carry their items to the dressing room. She swept the floor and dusted the furniture. She even tried to seal the deal with a couple who were looking at a Simply Grove dresser. She almost got the sale but they couldn’t come to an agreement at the last minute. Good try!!
When the store was empty of customers, we practiced our mirror poses. Eden has mastered quite a few. She seems to favor the hand on the hip. Oh Eden Jo!
Hey locals!! If you are in the market for furniture, all Simply Grove furniture at Brass Razoo will be on sale tomorrow!! Check Brass Razoo’s facebook tomorrow for a list of the items and prices.
Lots of business cards in my purse, amazing conversations, great laughs with great friends, feeling inspired and motivated for the next step= ALT Summit.
Talk to you on Monday!!!! xxoo
If you follow me on Twitter, you have already seen this chair. If not, here is the newest Simply Grove chair, sold at Brass Razoo. My husband found the coolest leather fabric with a gray wool backing. We covered the seat with the leather and weaved strips of the leather on the backside, exposing the gray on the back. Started the look by painting the wood white and completed the look with black trim.
What do you think??
I did some more styling at Brass Razoo the other day. Below are a few available items for the shop. Whats your fave set up??
1. Outdoor chic…
2. Cool urban…
3. Glam pad…
The other day while working at Brass Razoo, I had a few moments to spare so I decided to style a desk (that sold to this lovely chic). I had the table made by a close friends dad. He did a fantastic job!! Anyhoot, I styled it 3 different ways with some of our products at Brass Razoo. (Everything seen is for sale.) Let me know what your fave look is!!
Layed back chic.
