This dining room is the perfect example of how to collaborate rustic and modern. The colors and textures bring the outdoors in. I also love the large doors that lead to the exterior. I’ve always wanted a space that could be opened up to the outside. One idea I have is creating a living room out of a garage and using the garage doors as a way to make it one indoor/outdoor space.
What are your thoughts on indoor/outdoor living?

With summer quickly approaching, it’s almost time to start planting. And with planting comes the perfect pots. And the perfect pots are coming from West Elm this year. Seriously, I am so impressed with their selection! I have my eye on several different styles.
Here is some major space inspiration from Åsberg Interiör & Styling.
It’s supposed to get up to 88 degrees on Sunday so I’m thinking it’s time to clean out and prepare our back patio for warm weather! I love the look of this outside living space. Comfy and pretty!
If you live in Boise and are a design enthusiast, don’t forget about the meet & greet tomorrow afternoon from 5:00pm-7:00pm with Vanessa De Vargas at Heirloom & Vine on 204 Broad Street. It’s going to be super fun! Also, the Chair Affair is happening today and tomorrow. I’ll be attending some of it. Go here for more information.
And if you think about, the Joyus design challenge is still happening so I would love your votes!

Today you will find me over at Glitter Guide, sharing some of my entertaining tips. You will also see a few images of my backyard and a few more images of this insanely cool vintage Missoni dress. Tim Riley did an extremely great job photographing this shoot.
Thanks for having me, Glitter Guide!
Look! It’s like his and her doors!
This makes me “happy”.
