Working Together…

It’s interesting how decor finds inspiration from fashion and vice versa.  Whether it’s through patterns, colors or textures, the two work together as a team.  As a designer, I’m always finding inspiration through fashion.  My favorite trends in fashion always find their way in my room designs.  Right now I’m obsessed with color and mixing [...]

Quilts…

My favorite fall trend every year is quilts.  I guess it shouldn’t be called a trend since quilts may date back as far as ancient Egypt.  Nevertheless, they are the perfect accessory for those chilly fall and winter days.  You can find a variety of modern quilts that fit in nicely with the minimalist movement [...]

Inspiration {Unexpected Color}…

Each of these spaces have splashes of color in unexpected places.  I love the idea of colored cabinets, colored floors and colored furniture.  Of course furniture is the easiest to change out.  Flooring and cabinets are a little more permanent.  But I always say, go big or go home so let’s paint the town! 1,2,3,4. [...]

Inspiration {Living Space}…

This living space feels so serene.  Mostly because of the peaceful colors they used in the furniture and art.  I also give the mix of objects two thumbs up!!

No one can ever have to many pillows.  It’s the easiest way to freshen up a space!  I love the soft colors used in these Fred Shand pillows which are available at Anthropologie.  Also the tiny coral cross-stitches and printed and appliqué plumes are pretty awesome.
