A reader asked me the other day for some creative ideas for her child’s bedroom, which is one of my most favorite rooms to decorate. While browsing Inside Out, I found these 3 adorable spaces with some great ideas to point out. This first room (above) plays with color on the wall. I love the soft rainbow approach going up just one wall. They also played with color using colorful accessories on the dresser.

Every kids space needs shelving to display books, toys and cute knick knacks. In this space, they’ve created shelving out of two ladders. It’s modern, whimsical and would make for an easy DIY.

I don’t know a single kid that doesn’t appreciate a good tent or fort. My kids are always wanting to create forts around the house. I love how bright this tent/canopy is above the bed. It looks stylish against all of the other color happening in this space.

The Oeuf nursery collection has just welcomed two new members to the family. The Rhea crib and Merlin dresser are both extremely well designed and very refined to create a stylish nursery. I love both the birch and walnut finishes. They sort of get me excited for a future nursery in my home. Wait, what??! Yeah, maybe not for awhile.

The home of Joslyn from Simple Lovely was featured in the latest issue of Rue, which is packed full of Texas goodness.  I’ve seen glimpses of Josly’s home before but seeing the whole space has proven that Joslyn knows what she’s doing!  I adore everything about this lady including how ridiculously genuine and nice that she is.  I’m thinking that you need a house guest from Boise this fall, Joslyn….right??
