I wanted to show you another image from a project that I did in Seattle. I took this pic on my phone so it’s not the greatest.  My clients wanted a modern living space that was comfortable and durable for their kids. We chose neutral colors with pops of bright colors throughout. The Souk rug from West Elm makes every space feel comfortable. And the Fargo sofa from Bo Concept is always an instant success! Their view is unbelievable, so designing their condo was that much more fun!

I’m loving this bohemian/masculine space that involves lots of great patterns and materials. The rug and afghan adds color while the sofa acts as an anchor for the whole space. Below are ideas to achieve the same look:

Lately on Instagram: The kids and I visited my good friend Elise earlier this week. Ethan wanted to kidnap her dog, Nacho. He even snuck him in the car. I would have taken the sofa!:)

These last few weeks, Boise has been celebrating the Parade Of Homes. You’re not supposed to take pictures but I still snuck some in. This kitchen was by far my favorite on the tour.

This living room is from the same home as above. I LOVED that sofa.

Jocey from Wedding Chicks has the best Woolly Pocket filling up her wall. BTW, her bedroom is done and it looks great!

I have found my new summer decor staple! These mini planters from Wind and Willow Home are a perfect accessory for just about anywhere. I displayed mine on my mantle. They hold 4 mini succulents in a variety of shapes and colors. They add the perfect amount of green to that area. I’m also considering ordering a few more to have them on hand for summer parties. They would make a perfect center piece to any table.

Recently I’ve been wanting some change in my house. Specifically in my living room. I sold both of my sofa’s earlier this month and now all we have to sit on is a few chairs and the kids mini Ikea sofa. It’s not the comfiest of rooms so my husband is putting the pressure on me to buy a new sofa. With the sofa, I’ve decided to change up a few other details, including coffee table, area rug, lighting and other accessories. Shane’s only request is that we save up for an Eames lounge chair. He has wanted one since we were newlyweds so I guess I could squeeze it in the plan…;) Here is a rough draft of what I’m thinking. And can we talk about that sofa?? God bless the Luna Sofa.

I am working on a new project with dream, and I mean heaven sent dream, clients! Above is a snapshot of their living room. Now, this room is before hiring me so right away it’s evident that they have fantastic taste. Really I’m offering moral support and standing ovations when they continue to create an amazing space for their adorable family. I can’t wait to share images in the next few month of this 2 thumbs up project.

Every time that I lay my eyes on The Apartment, I get major goosebumps. The Apartment is a liaison of 20th century furniture, contemporary art and design, showcased in the elegant setting of an 18th century apartment in Christianshavn, in the heart of Copenhagen, which was restored by founders Tina Seidenfaden Busck and Pernille Hornhaver. You guys! This space is amaze!! The Republic of Fritz Hansen™ has joined forces with Spotti, the renowned Milanese furniture company, to open a new Republic of Fritz Hansen showroom in Milan. Building on the success of FAVN which launched in 2011, Fritz Hansen will utilize this newly designed space to introduce a beautiful new lounge chair, designed by Jaime Hayon. Stunning!
