Inspiration {Unexpected Color}…

Each of these spaces have splashes of color in unexpected places.  I love the idea of colored cabinets, colored floors and colored furniture.  Of course furniture is the easiest to change out.  Flooring and cabinets are a little more permanent.  But I always say, go big or go home so let’s paint the town! 1,2,3,4. For your office…

I interrupt this blog to be a little nerdy on you! If you’ve ever talked on the phone with me while I am at home, you know that my reception sucks.  I have two spots in my house that I can have a normal conversation for at least 2 minutes.  It’s horrible!!  So when I [...]

How we find inspiration…

When working in my office, I have a giant wall of inspiration to gaze upon.  But sometimes that just isn’t enough to get my creative juices flowing.  My husband has a grand way of receiving inspiration… Not sure if it really works but it sure gets the brain cells moving.

Flashback…

In our previous home, our office (see above) was a light and airy space that I styled with vintage, antique and modern pieces.  As much as I loved it, I didn’t use it very often.  Do you have rooms like that?  Pretty but un-approachable?  I’ve learned alot since that space.  I want my home to feel lived [...]
