With Mother’s Day right around the corner, I teamed up with Stone Textile to create a fresh and fabulous Mother’s Day Brunch table top. I designed this table scene around these super cool diamond cut wood chargers. Because these chargers are natural wood, I played off the organic feel by using greenery from my backyard, orange vibrant tulips and simple white dish-ware. It created an organic and simple tablescape.

I also included the multi diamond print napkin and the light gray diamond print napkin to add some pattern to the table.

It just comes to show you that you don’t have to go over the top to create a beautiful table in honor of your mum. By simply visiting your backyard, you can adorn any table with natural elements. And of course adding these amazing Stone Textile products brings the coolness factor up a notch!

Happy weekend friends!! I wanted to show you some pictures of my Thanksgiving tablescape. It was fun hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year. Shane’s family made some delicious food while I created the ambiance. It was a good trade off!

My set up included bright yellow mums placed in a variety of vases and bottles, brown postal paper, my Grandma’s china and silverware, cute little hedgehog candles and polka dot napkins. It turned out fun and festive without being too cliche.

And then there was the kids table…

I used cute gold paper plates and cups just in case of accidents. The turkey name card holders were a fun craft project from Target that my kids and I did the night before Thanksgiving. The kids had a blast using the brown paper as their coloring book for the day. Cheap entertainment as the turkey was cooking.

Now it’s time for CHRISTMAS!!

Budget takes an important role in our holiday decisions.  With everything that needs to be purchased, most people can’t throw money into their tablescape.  Here is inspiration for a budget friendly Thanksgiving tablescape.  In this design, it’s all about mix and match.  Nothing matches but believe me, that’s a good thing!

I’m pretty stoked that it’s the holiday season, friends!  Hope you are too.  The holiday closest to us Americans is Thanksgiving.  I love creating the tablescape for Thanksgiving though I haven’t in years because of going to other homes.  This year I thought I would dream up some fun tablescapes to inspire all of us.  This first one is created around a very natural aesthetic.  I threw in some black to modernize it a bit.  Here’s the look:

My friend Erin tweeted about this Thanksgiving goodness yesterday and I just had to show all of you.  It’s from 100 Layer Cake, of course!  If I was hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year, I would totally play off of this look.  Its party perfection!!!

Last year I hosted Thanksgiving at my house.  It was alot of fun and alot of work.  This year we are having dinner at the in laws.  Of course decorating is my favorite part of hosting so that will be missed.  Above is images of my tablescape from last year.  I went with a simple white theme with natural elements.  What are you doing for Thanksgiving?  Are you hosting??
