If you love crisp whites, but minimal color, this home tour is one for you! This home is a one-bedroom apartment in an apartment building completed in 1927 in Punavuori, Helsinki. The house was designed by architect Aarre Ekman, and this apartment has 53 square meters which is roughly 570 square feet. This beautiful space was renovated by and is home to Susanna Heinonen and Mikko Korkala.

Loving this cafe inspired kitchen with its subway tile and its dark grout.

What we love about this home is that the materials and colors come from 1950s inspired design. The rooms are not full of stuff, and even the knick-knacks fit the spirit of the home.

Keeping it minimal is important in this small space. A simple small couch, side chair, light and entertainment center does the job of filling this room while still keeping lots of negative space.

How cute are these colorful posters?

When living in a small space, storage is extremely important. These open shelves leave room for lots of possibilities, and the concealed bottom is perfect for stashing away what may not be as tidy and neat.
