Welcome to our weekly home tour! This week we have a gorgeous Brooklyn Brownstone that is historical ta-boot and covered with modern style. This brownstone is home to Jeff Madalena and Jason Gnewikow. Jeff is the cofounder of rocker-chic clothing brand Oak, and Jason is a former musician and graphic designer. They took over this ambitious project of purchasing their very own Brooklyn brownstone and renovating it while still keeping the historical nature of this beaut intact.
I’m absolutely swooning over this full wall fireplace with the petite opening at the base.
The amount of textures, lines, and organic shaped in this space is giving my all the heart eyes!
I am really enjoying the character in this room. The couple blended soft tones and lines and brought out a bit of fun by adding this edgy photo that instantly becomes a focal point in this relaxing but energized space.
I’m not sure if this home originally had this flooring. If it did, wow did they get lucky!
Lovely mix of historical elements here at the door juxtaposed with the modern sputnik chandelier.
