I showed you images of my entryway makeover yesterday. Now I get to show you the techie cool part of the space. I teamed up with Lutron to promote their light sensors. The reason I am totally willing to back this product up is these sensors can help save energy and make life easier. I need more of both of those things in my life. Another detail about Lutron’s light sensors is how easy they are to install. If I can install them, anyone can! And it only takes 15 minutes of your time.
I installed Lutron’s Maestro Occupancy/Vacancy Sensing C·L Dimmer. The Maestro occupancy/vacancy sensors automatically turn lights on when you enter a space and off when you leave, making them a convenient way to save energy in a home or commercial space. They’re ideal for rooms where lights are accidentally left on. For us, it’s our entryway light. For others it could be the office, laundry room, pantry and even walk in closets. It’s also great for those moments when your hands are full and you need a third hand to turn lights on. These products work with various light bulbs types (incandescents, halogens, dimmable CFLs and dimmable LEDs) and feature ambient light detection, which means lights will only turn on if there’s not enough sunlight filling the space.
Watch my video above to see how the process was for me. You’ll love the end;) And PLEASE excuse my ugly bandaid. It’s a war wound that won’t go away!
